Snark: to annoy or irritate

"Snark" has been in English language dictionaries since at least 1906, and Lewis Carroll used the word to describe a mythological animal in his poem, The Hunting of the Snark (1874). Most recently, the word has come to characterize snappish, sarcastic, or mean-spirited comments or actions directed at those who annoy or irritate us.

At first, this blog was just going be a place to gripe, but because it's more satisfying to take action than it is to merely complain, now most of the posts/reposts suggest ways to get involved in solving problems.

Bracket of Evil Winner

After tens of thousands of votes, FOX News has earned the title of
champion of the Bracket of Evil.
And it's no wonder why. Have you seen what happens
when someone over-doses on FOX News? I have, and
it's not a pretty sight — adults afflicted with delusions
of persecution, rage addiction, neo-McCarthyism,
Birtherism, paranoia, Tea Party membership, and
excessive crying.
FOX News is a Republican Party propaganda organ and
not a legitimate news organization. When Democrats
appear on FOX News, they give it legitimacy, which
is not okay.
Yet sadly, some Democrats still appear on FOX News,
perpetuating the lie that appearing on FOX News, in
moderation, isn't harmful to our country's health.
No more! There needs to be an intervention.
Democrats need to stop appearing on FOX cold turkey.
It's time they go on a DeFox.
Thank you for working to build a better world.

P.S. We hope you had fun with the CREDO Bracket
of Evil! We certainly had a lot of fun putting it
together, and we're excited to use the results to
shape our upcoming activism. Thanks again for
bracketing!
